Show Summary

"Hatful of Rain", the play written by Michael V. Gazzo, gave the audience that night a glimpse into an unconventional family, whose lives had been turned upside down by heroin abuse, PTSD from the Vietnam war, love, loneliness, and debt. Students in attendance were able to view how each of these issues affect everyone, whether or not they are directly involved with them or not.

Notes on the Show

Multiple articles from the Globe in the 1990s raised awareness of the Alcoholic addictions that the students, expressed concerns for the students, provided helpful resources, and asked the university itself to step in and help.
