Website Overview

In this website, we reflect on the actions that students have taken in the past to confront social injustices, and uplift the community of around them. We will take a look at shows produced by The Point Park Dance Company, Playhouse Theatre Company, and the Point Park College Theatre Club throughout the 1990's, and their affiliation and involvement in bettering Pittsburgh.

Archived Productions*

All of the information and media found within this website comes from the archives of Point Park University. After scouring the archive, we have created articles for each show from the time period that was involved in pressing matters such as Drug Abuse, War, and the AIDS epidemic.

Interactive Timeline

In collaboration with the website, an interactive timeline has been created to help visualize the commonality of these issues, as well as the time between events.
